“I’m an athletic trainer here at Stony Point High School in Round Rock, Texas. In February I was approached about the LaserTouchOne on a pilot program where I got to try it out for a while. In the course of me using the LaserTouchOne, it became very apparent that it does quite a bit with pain relief. We have found it’s very beneficial to us here at Stony Point High School in removing pain especially from tendonitis and muscular type pain in our athletes. My mother Albina was diagnosed with fibromyalgia two years ago. Her primary care doctor sent her to a pain specialist.  The first thing that she was given was morphine.  The pain continued and she had side effects.  She was given a wheelchair, was sent to physical and water therapy and finally she was given a brace for both of her knees. I saw how doctor Oei applied an LTO to a person that I had just met and I was astonished how a man who couldn’t feel any sensation in a part of his leg for years was able to now feel sensation after 3-4 minutes of the LTO. I asked my mother to please come and see the instrument, the LTO. The first time we went to Dr. Oei’s office, we had with us the wheel chair, a cane and a pair of braces that were prescribed a few days earlier.  She could not walk upright and couldn’t walk more than 20 steps without needing to rest. Dr. Oei asked for her to sit on the examination table for treatment and she barely made it to the top.  I asked her to tell the Dr. Oei at what level was the pain right then: (10-the most painful and 1-hardly any pain).  Her response was between 7 and 8. The doctor used the LTO for about four minutes and I saw for the first time in a long time that she could move and straighten her leg without a lot of pain.   She said “Wow! It doesn’t hurt as much, the pain is between a 4 and a 5”.  A week later, on the second therapy session, she didn’t take the wheelchair or the cane and she walked from the parking lot to the office.  However, she still walked bold-legged, like she just got off a horse.  When Dr. Oei was done with the second therapy she was walking semi-normal.  We were so happy that I asked the doctor to take a picture and record her because it had been two years since I had seen her walk so well and without so much pain. The LTO had done so much for her in two therapies than the traditional doctors in two years.

I wanted to thank you for introducing me to the LaserTouchOne. As far as pain is concerned, I have had various back issues most of my life and have sought many avenues with which to deal with it.  Now scoliosis has added a new wrinkle that I am working on. Physical Therapy gave minimal results, and exercise and massage are keeping me together.

However, for the past few years I have been dealing with “trigger finger” pain and lack of motion.  When it hit my left thumb last year, I found a decreasing ability to function, since I am left-handed.  We first thought it came from a drug, and I was taken off my Arimidex (anti-cancer drug), as it was thought to cause this.  As that didn’t work, I was sent to an arthritis specialist, who said it was tendonitis and gave me a cortizone shot, which helped immediately, but it systematically returned after several months.  It was so bad that I couldn’t write, open jars, zip up zippers, hold a toothbrush or a fork properly, or push a remote button to open the car or change a channel.  I had begun trying to adapt the house to help me to live with this situation.

One day, serendipitously, I met a woman who noticed my difficulty and told me about Dr. Oei and his LaserTouchOne.  Very skeptically, I went to see him.  His philosophy of treatment was encouraging.  He does not want a patient to come to him on a continuing basis forever.  He wants to teach each patient, with the help of the LaserTouchOne, to take charge of his own treatment.

I went to see him twice a week for two weeks, once a week for two weeks, and two visits two weeks apart.  I am now on my own with the LaserTouchOne, and my condition is nothing short of miraculous!  I can bend my thumb, press with my thumb, and do all the above movements mostly pain free.  I feel as if I have been given my life back.  And, now that my thumb is better and I can hold the LaserTouchOne more accurately, I have begun concentrating on using the machine to tackle my back pain
