Corporate Overview
Renewal Technologies’ primary mission is helping those in pain discover the effectiveness of the LaserTouchOne. By introducing the LaserTouchOne to the consumer market, we have also created a premier home-based business opportunity that is well suited for both entrepreneurs and independent sales representatives. Distributors of the LaserTouchOne can make a significant stream of primary or secondary income while helping those in pain find relief without the drawbacks of heavy medications, invasive procedures or surgery.
Americans spend more than $200 billion per year on treatments, products and procedures in search of effective pain relief. The best that most can achieve is poor to uneven results. Renewal Technologies serves this large marketplace in need of our revolutionary, “game changing” pain relief device.
For Dr. Okky Oei, the quest for finding solutions for both chronic and acute pain started with his own back injury years ago. Dr. Oei quickly realized that most of the medications used to treat pain were accompanied by significant side effects that were difficult to tolerate. His personal need to relieve his own pain without experiencing the debilitating effects of heavy medications prompted him to find scientific, evidence-based, non-medicinal, non-invasive treatment. It was Dr. Oei’s vision that pain relief could (and should) be achieved by addressing the source of pain rather than simply treating symptoms.
Dr. Oei began his pain relief practice quest and utilized many traditional and complimentary treatments, such as trigger point
injections, Acupuncture and myofascial release techniques. He then studied and used micro-current electrical stimulation to
achieve significant pain relief results for his patients. His next steps in research and testing involved Low Level Laser
Treatment (LLLT), a treatment modality that was being used worldwide but still in its infancy in the U.S.
In the course of his 30-year career, Dr. Oei has delivered pain relief results to tens of thousands of patients with LLLT and micro-current electrical stimulation both as standalone modalities and in combination using the LaserTouchOne. He was instrumental in the development of this revolutionary pain relief solution combining both modalities in a user-friendly, handheld unit.
The LaserTouchOne’s prescription and over-the-counter clearance by the FDA for national use is evidence of the device’s efficacy and safety. Dr. Oei, in his association with Renewal Technologies, is now able take the next step in his passionate journey to put true, non-invasive, non-medicinal pain relief in the palm of any consumer’s hand.
Dr. Oei’s work with Renewal Technologies is driven by the shared mission to connect millions of pain sufferers with the pain relief potential of the LaserTouchOne. As Renewal Technologies’ Medical Director, Dr. Oei brings a lifetime of research, treatment and testing in the arena of pain relief and provides expert, experience-based training, product certification and support to the distributors of the LaserTouchOne and to medical practitioners who believe they can utilize the LaserTouchOne in their practices to help patients with various painful conditions.

As Founder of Renewal Technologies, Bob Gottschalk shaped the vision for the future. He utilized his decades of business experience in healthcare, wellness, franchising, pharmacy operations and sales to launch Renewal Technologies. Bob believed in both the power of the product and the direct-to-consumer delivery method via a team of well-trained and passionate distributors. He also believed that the market for a breakthrough pain relief product, like the LaserTouchOne, is significant in size and depth and that those individuals who suffer from chronic and acute pain are determined to seek and find ways to reduce and eliminate the pain that affects their lifestyles, jobs, relationships and overall quality of life.
Bob created and launched Renewal Technologies around a mission-driven mandate: deliver a pain relief alternative to the 1 in 2 Americans who suffer from chronic or acute pain.
His career afforded him the opportunity to experience the multi-faceted aspects of business and brand development. He joined HealthCare Dimensions in 1999 and, as its sales leader, was an instrumental member of the leadership team that developed the SilverSneakers Fitness Program® into a national brand. This initiative drove the sale of the company to Axia Health Management in November of 2004. Bob served as Axia Health Management’s chief sales executive from its inception in 2004 through its acquisition by Healthways in December 2006. Through both acquisitions, Bob was an active participant in due diligence, investment banking presentations and strategic planning and execution activities related to the acquisition process. He served as Healthways’ Senior Vice President of Strategic Sales from December 2006 through June 2009.
Prior to his association with HealthCare Dimensions, Bob had more than 25 years of executive management and sales experience in franchising, non-profit community agency and community/longterm care pharmacy environments. He was also active as a volunteer with various organizations and Jewish community agencies in the Phoenix area. Bob Gottschalk passed away on September 10, 2011 after a long courageous battle with cancer.
